Terms & Disclaimer: Read the Boring Part.

It is short, it is in plain English, and it tells you what we are and are not. That matters more here than on most websites.

Terms of Use and Legal Disclaimer

These Terms govern your use of injurysupportillinois.com and the intake and referral services offered by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], doing business as Injury Support Illinois ("we," "us," "our"). By using this site or contacting us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. We are not a law firm

Injury Support Illinois is not a law firm, is not a lawyer, and does not provide legal services, legal representation, or legal advice. We are an intake and referral service. We are not a lawyer referral service certified or approved by the Illinois Supreme Court or the Illinois State Bar Association.

Nothing on this website — including case-type pages, service-area pages, FAQs, descriptions of deadlines or statutes, and anything said to you by our intake team — is legal advice or a legal opinion about your situation. Laws change, procedures vary by county, and the facts of your case matter enormously. Only a licensed attorney who has reviewed your specific circumstances can advise you.

2. No attorney-client relationship

Submitting a form, calling us, texting us, emailing us, or receiving a call back from us does not create an attorney-client relationship. It also does not create any relationship of confidentiality protected by the attorney-client privilege between you and us.

An attorney-client relationship is formed only if and when you and a licensed attorney enter into a written representation agreement, and that attorney confirms they are representing you. Until that happens, no one is protecting your legal deadlines but you. Do not delay speaking to an attorney because you have contacted us.

3. What we actually do — and do not do

We do:

  • Take in your description of what happened, at no cost to you
  • Call you back and explain, in general terms, how the process typically works
  • With your consent, provide your information to one or more licensed Illinois attorneys in our network who handle the type of case you described
  • Answer general questions about how the intake process works, and tell you plainly when a question needs an attorney or a doctor instead

We do not:

  • Evaluate the merits, strength, or value of your claim
  • Select, recommend, endorse, vet, rank, or rate any attorney, or represent that any attorney is the "best" or "right" one for you
  • Analyse your legal problem in deciding which attorney receives your information
  • Guarantee that any attorney will accept your case, or that any case will produce any result
  • Provide medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, or direct your medical decisions
  • Arrange, schedule, provide, guarantee, or pay for medical treatment, transportation, or any other service on your behalf
  • Arrange deferred billing, promise that any provider will treat you, or promise that your medical bills will be paid from any recovery
  • Act as your agent, representative, or advocate in any claim or negotiation

A connection made through our service is not a recommendation of that attorney. Whether to hire any attorney is entirely your decision, and you are never obligated to hire anyone.

4. How we are compensated

Attorneys who participate in our network pay us a fee to receive connections. We do not charge you anything — no consultation fee, no percentage of any recovery, no administrative fee. Our compensation does not depend on the outcome of your case and does not give us any interest in it.

5. Advertising and claims about results

This website constitutes advertising. Any figure describing amounts recovered reflects combined amounts reported to us by attorneys in our network and was not recovered by Injury Support Illinois. Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any other case. Every case is different, and outcomes depend on facts, evidence, insurance coverage, applicable law, and other factors outside anyone's control.

Statements about response times and availability describe operating goals we hold ourselves to. They are not guarantees or warranties.

6. No medical advice

Content about medical care, treatment, or providers is general information only. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional. If you are injured, seek medical attention. In an emergency, call 911. We do not employ healthcare providers, do not control the care you receive, and are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any provider.

7. Consent to be contacted

By providing your phone number and checking the consent box, you agree that we and the attorneys we connect you with may contact you by phone call, text message, or email about your inquiry — including by automatic telephone dialing system or prerecorded or artificial voice — at the number you provided, even if it appears on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase and is not required to receive help. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of texts. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to use this site only for lawful purposes, and not to submit information about another person without their permission. You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it, or use it to send unsolicited communications. Do not use this site to report an emergency.

9. Intellectual property

The text, design, logos, and other content on this site are owned by Injury Support Illinois or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Any other reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires our written permission.

10. Third-party sites and information

We link to courts, hospitals, government agencies, and other third-party resources for your convenience. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or accuracy. Statutes, deadlines, addresses, and statistics cited on this site were accurate to the best of our knowledge when published and may have changed since.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

This site and our services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Injury Support Illinois and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of this site or our services. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, advice, fees, or performance of any attorney, law firm, or medical provider. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100.00).

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from information you submit that is false or that you had no right to submit, or from your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [VENUE COUNTY] County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Accessibility

We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers or other assistive technology. If something on this site is difficult for you to use, call (000) 000-0000 or email help@injurysupportillinois.com and we will help you directly and fix the problem.
